New Oracle Hyperion EPM Connectors Now Available in Beta
We've released new Oracle Hyperion Extractor and Writer components in beta, providing bi-directional integration with Oracle's Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform.
Oracle Hyperion is an enterprise-grade EPM solution widely used for financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, and reporting. It's built around multidimensional OLAP databases (Essbase) and planning applications that handle complex financial workflows across large organizations. With these new components, you can now extract data from Hyperion into Keboola and write processed data back.
What's included
Oracle Hyperion Extractor pulls data from your Hyperion EPM environment via REST API. Execute MDX queries against Essbase OLAP cubes and export data slices from Planning applications. The component returns flat tabular output from multidimensional data structures, making it easy to combine Hyperion financial data with other sources for analysis.
Oracle Hyperion Writer pushes data from Keboola back into Hyperion. Import CSV data into Essbase cubes or Planning applications. Column headers in your input tables map directly to Hyperion dimension names, enabling automated data loads for budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
Both components support Essbase 21C and Hyperion Planning modules, authenticate via Shared Services (CSS) credentials, and work with on-premise or cloud VM deployments.
Use cases
Common scenarios include extracting actuals from Hyperion for consolidated reporting, loading budget data from other systems into Planning applications, or syncing financial data between Hyperion and data warehouses for advanced analytics.
Getting started
Both components are available in beta. You can start testing them in your projects now. We're looking for feedback to refine the components before moving to general availability.
