Monthly Platform

Month in Review: September 2025

We’re rolling out a new Python‑based Mailkit connector, session revocation in MCP, workspace revert support, a new Shoptet dashboard template, and more.

Mailkit: New Python Components, Java Version Deprecated

The Mailkit data source and Mailkit data destination components have been rewritten in Python, replacing the old Java versions. Mailkit is an advanced email marketing platform for managing campaigns, recipient lists, and detailed delivery statistics. The old components will remain available (but deprecated), so any new configurations must be created with the new Python versions.

MCP Server

  • MCP OAuth Session Revocation: Users can now view and revoke their MCP server sessions from the /admin/account/sessions UI, giving greater control over active logins and session security.
  • MCP Server v1.22.2: Improves Python Transformation reliability, output consistency, and tool prompting.
  • ChatGPT Setup Instructions in MCP: Added guidance in the MCP settings for users with ChatGPT Plus or Pro accounts. Team and Enterprise accounts are not supported yet.

New Template Available: Shoptet Ads & Sales Dashboard

Quickly launch a dashboard connecting Shoptet, GA4, and Meta Ads, powered by Python transformations and visualized in a Streamlit Data App. Works on Snowflake and BigQuery.

Workspace Revert Support in UI

You can now revert workspace configurations in the UI. The only limitation: version 1 (without linked sandbox ID) is not supported for revert.

CLI

CLI v2.39.5: Adds --skip-workflows to kbc init, handles 0-row downloads, and updates encryption API.
