Legacy Flows Migrate to Conditional Flows (June to October 2026)
Legacy Flows are upgrading to Conditional Flows between June and October 2026. Migrate during your self-service window or let it happen automatically. Conditional Flows bring conditional branching, automatic retries, and dynamic variables.
Migration schedule
Flows are divided into two waves: smaller flows (Wave 1) and larger flows (Wave 2).
Flows ready for migration will show a banner like this:

New Flows are bringing:
- Conditional branching: Route workflows based on task outcomes or variable values. Skip unnecessary tasks when conditions aren't met.
- Per-task retry: Automatically retry failed tasks with configurable delays. No manual reruns for transient failures.
- Computed variables: Set variables dynamically from task results and pass them between tasks.
- Better error handling: Continue on failure, stop immediately, or route to alternate paths.
- Faster features: New capabilities ship faster with one unified workflow engine.

How migration works:
Migrate in one click:
- Open any eligible Flow (you'll see a migration banner)
- Click "Migration preview" in the banner.
- Review the side-by-side comparison.
- Click "Migrate now".
See exact steps in Migration Guide.
What happens after:
- New Conditional Flow activates immediately.
- Original Flow stays as read-only reference.
- Schedules and triggers transfer automatically.
- Configuration ID stays the same (only component ID changes).
- 30 days to roll back if needed.
Or let automatic migration handle it: If you don't migrate during your window, automatic migration happens on the deadline date (August 1 for Wave 1, October 1 for Wave 2).
